For this week Web Quest, I will discuss chafe nontextual matters from two different artists, Vincent van Gogh and Edvard crackle. The first artistry is Starry darknesstime all over the Rhone by Vincent van Gogh. This pick up was mixed in September 1888, and is one of his most noted paintings of Arles at wickedness. Starry night Over the Rhone is the painting that is spill to have given Vincent the perspective that he employed in his later Starry Night painting. This painting is differenced from Starry Night because it contains human beings. The painting shows a starry night over a section of Rhone River at night. It captures the gas lighting in Arles at night and an illuminated peddle. On the foreground on that point are two individuals walk of life along the river. The stars in the night are surrounded by an orb of their natural light. Vincent gave match ocular weight to all the things that he painted in Starry Night Over the Rhone. There is no visual distinction between the earth and the sky. For example, the light from the stars is reflected to captureher with that of the city lights in the Rhone River. Second painting is The screeching by Edward Munch. It was painted in 1893, showing an agonized figure against a rosy sky. The Scream is thought of as the first expressionist painting.

Munchs painting does not show a veridical visual interpretation of reality; it is an abstract image, based on his inside feelings, and attempts to convey his most intimate and terrifying feelings and emotions. In his witness diary in January 1892, he stated I was walkin g along the road with two friendsSuddenly th! e sky glum blood-red. I stopped, and leaned against the railing, deathly tiredI stood there, precarious with fear. And I sensed a great, infinite scream overtaking by means of nature. What would be a beautiful sunset entirely it transform into an expression of fear, and anguish.
